getting the clutch off
I used a bearing puller to get the clutch off.......it worked better than my clutch tool !
If you look close at the right hand side the puller it is slipping off as pressure is applied
The reason that the clutch compresser tool is not holding on to the clutch drum whilst being compressed is because the legs chould be BEHIND the clutch sprocket NOT behind the drum as illustrated in the photograph!! Hope this is of some help and avoids any further problems!
